Toyota 100 Cars for Good: Harley’s Hope Foundation

On July 10, we at Larry H. Miller Liberty Toyota presented a new 2014 Toyota Sienna to Harley’s Hope Foundation as part of the Toyota 100 Cars for Good program.
 

 

Harley’s Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization that ensures that low-income pet owners and their companion or service animals remain together when unexpected hardships or medical issues arise. This is Larry H. Miller Liberty Toyota’s second time participating in the 100 Cars for Good initiative, as we presented a Toyota Tundra to Angels of America’s Fallen in April as part of the program.
 

“We’re honored that two nonprofits in the Colorado Springs community were selected as part of Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good and proud to present a vehicle to Harley’s Hope Foundation,” said Todd Hilleboe, general manager at Larry H. Miller Liberty Toyota. “We’re all animal lovers, and we know Harley’s Hope Foundation will use the Sienna minivan to support the four-legged members of our community.”

Harley’s Hope Foundation will use the Toyota Sienna to transport people with special needs and their companion or medical service animals to appointments, and for delivering goods and materials to the organization’s special events and community gatherings.

Spring is Here!

Finally, Spring is here! Sure it means better weather is on it’s way but it also means your vehicle needs to change over to the warmer temperatures as well. Larry H Miller Liberty Toyota in Colorado Springs wants to ensure you are ready to ride, whether you stay on the roads or go off road. We have listed some basic tips to maintain your vehicle from now until the cooler temperatures return.

• Fluids: Oil, wiper, brake, and antifreeze should all be checked and filled.
• Tires: Check for those bald spots or any bulges that may have occurred. Check with your owner’s manual for the proper tire pressure.
• Wipers: Have fluids filled and if they need some replacing, invest in quality wipers to keep your sight clear on the roads.
• Battery: Check your battery cables for proper use. Don’t be stuck with a dead battery and no cables for yourself or a neighbor.
• Head and Brake lights: Do a safety check to make sure your lights are not dim or dead.
